THE 1984/85 MINERS STRIKE

Come on people! The miners strike was one of the biggest things that ever happened to Brampton (through the Cortonwood Colliery). It put Brampton on the map, and all over the news, but ultimately did massive damage to the area and it's residents. I know that someone out there must have more pictures of the strike than the ones that are here. If you do, then please, send them in.

The firt set are from old miners newspapers, and anonymous donations. To my knowledge, they are all taken in Brampton Bierlow. I am not sure where the last three images were taken.
